THE BULL CITY BENEFIT GALA
The Good Turn hosted the Inaugural Bull City Benefit Gala in honor of Durham turning 150 years old. The event brought exposure and awareness to local nonprofit organizations in the community of Durham and raised donations for their missions.
The 2019 gala focused on organizations that help the youth in the Durham community. The Good Turn made $1,000 donations to both nonprofits. The benefit recipients were:

Our host for the evening was Durham's own The Light 103.9 radio personality, Steve Jake.
Our speaker for the evening was Oscar nominated producer for "My Nephew Emmett", Austin D. James.
Entertainment for the evening was Durham's own live band leader, Jay Renee.
